The 100th floor of the World Trade Center or One World Observatory in New York
This is the highest observation deck in New York. The One World Observatory allows you to watch the Big Apple with the bird's-eye view. This viewing platform is located not somewhere, it is located on the last three floors of One World Trade Center or the Freedom Tower. Viewing radius is 360 degrees. To visit it, it's enough to climb the 100th floor of the World Trade Center. The Observatory takes 100th, 101st and 102nd floors. It was opened on May 29, 2015. One World Observatory is included in the Must Have List of every tourist who visits the Big Apple.
The height of a skyscraper World Trade Center №1, which contains this skydeck, is 1,776 feet or 541 meters. Number of feet symbolizes the year of American independence. After all, this is the year when the United States signed the Declaration of Independence. The skyscraper was built on the site of the old World Trade Center (the twin-towers) which were destroyed in the 9/11. It is the tallest building not only in New York but throughout the Western Hemisphere. One World Observatory of New York allows you to take pictures and see Manhattan, Brooklyn and Jersey City with more than a quater of a mile of height above the ground.
The Elevator of WTC 1 will take you to the observation deck in 60 seconds. The skyscraper has 5 these elevators. I advise to buy tickets online. It will save you from the queues and make the ticket is slightly cheaper. An important detail is before buying tickets, check the weather. In cloudy days, especially days with precipitation, are very poor visibility. Also visibility may be 0%.
P.S. For example, we went to the World Trade Center observatory twice. There was zero visibility when we came in for the first time! And we changed the tickets at a convenient date and time for us. Weather, of course, failed, but the New York's service is pleased :)
